Superstudio (research space of EPFL) challenged us to construct a new Student center for the EPFL campus.
We answered, giving back the campus to its students and designing an entire proposal around the spontaneous gatherings. A "Supersurface" where all the activities can take place anytime, anywhere with any program is deployed on the campus. The existing "esplanade" is transformed into a module library where students can borrow construction-kits to design their own space. With this nomadic constructions, that relies on the "supersurface" frame to function, students can reveal the potentiality of existing spaces by using them better.
