Chicago architecture biennale opens, for each session, a competition for young architects. James and Josh proposed me to join the team to present this project as an events kiosk on the Chicago's shore.
The construction aimed to reconnect the United States territory to the event. Each fragment of the fanfold represents a state and its main resource. Inside this moving portico, we designed a wood structure to host the shop and the storage.
The frame of the fanfold played both the role of closing the structure at night and hosting events like film projection.
